Derek Egeberg is a Branch Manager with Academy Mortgage Corporation and has over 10 years of experience in mortgage lending as both a mortgage broker and a mortgage banker in Yuma, Arizona. Derek's passion is helping first time home buyers overcome their fears and misconceptions about necessary down payments and credit history. This passion along with unique personal client touches and systems allow Derek to guide his clients through the home loan process.

National Mortgage Professional Magazine named Derek one of the "top 40 under 40" mortgage professionals in the country. He is an avid networker active in both BNI and Rotary clubs. Derek brings with him a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in which he graduated Cum Laude and is actively working towards his MBA.

Derek and his wife Sheri are the proud parents of 3 boys who have now figured out how to play every video game known to mankind.
